Ellen Morgan was born and raised in East New Britain Province and is a proud citizen of Papua New Guinea. She is the second born of 5 children from parents with a mixed heritage from Australia, England, New Ireland Province, and Hela Province in Papua New Guinea. She is passionate about creating opportunities for young Papua New Guineans in business and governance.

Ellen is the Co-Founder and President of East New Britain Artisans Market. She was also the PNG Youth Representative at the 2019 United Nations Youth Summit and 74th United Nations General Assembly in New York. Ellen was the Second Runner-Up in the 2019 Miss Pacific Islands PNG Pageant and was crowned Miss Frangipani / Miss East New Britain 2019. In 2021, Ellen was a panellist for the Pacific-Australia Youth Association’s youth webinar.

As an Ambassador for PAYA, Ellen believes that she will be able to help my network of young leaders in Papua New Guinea create positive and meaningful impacts in our communities by connecting with other like-minded young leaders in the Region.
