Nauru Youth Development Workshop
PAYA is pleased to present our first workshop in Nauru for our members. The half day program will focus on youth development and work towards addressing key challenges for young people in Nauru.
Papua New Guinea Leadership and Mindset Transformation Workshop
PAYA Inc. is holding a Leadership and Mindset Transformation Workshop for youth in PNG on Saturday 27th April 2024. We encourage you to join other motivated leaders to learn about: Impacting Community Through Small-Medium Enterprise Leadership, Women in Leadership, Sports Leadership and Cultivating a Healthy Mindset.

Youth from Pacific Islands Countries and Territories across Micronesia will share their cultures, stories and professional experiences with fellow youth across Australia and the South Pacific. The Wallis and Futuna Mini TechCamp - Digital Skills, Technology and Sustainability, will focus on equipping young people in Uvea to address sustainability and climate challenges through digital tools. A two-day workshop facilitated by youth leaders will address the gap in technology awareness and upskill local young people to address environmental challenges.

This project was supported by the Australian-French Association for Research and Innovation (AFRAN) for a two-part webinar series on the future of New Caledonia and French Polynesia. Please note that the event will be conducted in French.
Climate Change: A Tuvaluan Perspective
Hosted by the Pasifika Student Association of Macquarie University
The webinar will be discussing with the Honorary Enele Sopoaga, his experience at COP23 and how he believes the recent COP26 went, his experience in seeing climate change affect Tuvalu throughout his life and what it is like advocating for climate justice to middle and great powers like Australia and the US. Then we will be finishing the session off with a Q&A session.
Student-Led Talanoa
Hosted by the Pasifika Student Association of Macquarie University
The purpose of this event is to shed light topics both in diaspora communities and in the Pacific Islands, that many of us might not know about. Through this Student-Led Talanoa, we aim to encourage youths to actively seek answers to problems and to promote critical thinking.
