Membership Update Notice
Following consultations with members and discussions held during the Pacific-Australia Youth Association Inc. (PAYA) Annual General Meeting (AGM) in September 2025, PAYA has now implemented updates to our membership system to improve the overall experience for our community across Australia and the Pacific.
As part of this transition, all automatic renewals were turned off on 30 March 2026.
If you signed up before this date, or your automatic renewal was due from this point onwards, you will need to register again under the new system once your current membership expires.
Members who signed up or renewed before 30 March 2026 will continue to hold an active membership until its expiry later this year (or early 2027) and will receive an automatic email reminder to transition to the new system once their membership expires.
Our updated model introduces a simpler, one-off membership fee, removing the need for annual renewal payments:
• Australia – $25 AUD
• Papua New Guinea – 75 PGK
• Solomon Islands – 140 SBD
Please note that our online payment platform currently processes payments in Australian Dollars (AUD).
Once you join, your membership will not expire.
To ensure our records remain up to date and members stay engaged, an annual activation will still be required. This is a simple process (with no additional fee) where members confirm their details and ongoing involvement with PAYA.
As part of the new system, members can now self-manage their details through the PAYA online membership portal. Access details and instructions are provided once you sign up to the new system.
PAYA membership is open to individuals aged 18–40 years old from the Pacific-Australia region.
These changes are designed to strengthen our network, improve member engagement and enhance the overall experience for our community across the Pacific and Australia.
We appreciate the feedback and input received from members throughout this process and look forward to continuing to engage with you through PAYA.
