Ella Sinclair is an Australian born, Fijian raised who has just completed her tertiary education in Brisbane, Australia. 

As a New Colombo Plan Fellow, Ella is currently on her scholarship program in New Caledonia, Nouméa, completing a 6-month internship with the Pacific Community (SPC). Following this, Ella hopes to expand her program to Vanuatu where she will complete an additional internship with the Department of Fisheries and expand her time living in the Pacific.

Having grown-up in the Pacific, Ella has always had a passion for engaging with Pacific communities and combating present-day issues (such as climate change, sea level rise, coastal erosion). Ella hopes to be involved in work that makes ever-lasting sustainable change to Pacific communities, in the areas of youth leadership, coastal sciences and environmental change.
