Venue: Alibi Harbourside, Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea
The Pacific-Australia Youth Association (PAYA) will host its Members’ Afternoon Tea Meet and Greet in Port Moresby, bringing together PAYA members, partners, stakeholders and supporters for an afternoon of connection, collaboration and celebration.
The event aims to strengthen PAYA’s growing presence in Papua New Guinea, build relationships with key stakeholders, and create opportunities for young people to connect with organisations and professionals who share a commitment to youth leadership and development.
A key highlight of the event will be the establishment of the PAYA PNG Branch, marking an important step in expanding PAYA’s local presence and creating greater opportunities for young people across Papua New Guinea.
The event will also provide an opportunity to share plans for the upcoming PNG Regional Summit, which will bring together emerging young leaders from Papua New Guinea and the wider Pacific for leadership development, networking and regional collaboration.
Another significant feature will be the formal signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between PAYA and the Institution of Engineers Papua New Guinea (IEPNG) Port Moresby Branch. The partnership will support opportunities for young engineers and professionals through networking, professional development and leadership initiatives.
PAYA will also welcome Mr. Karan Rana, Chief Executive Officer and Honorary Trade Commissioner for Papua New Guinea at the India Commonwealth Trade Council, whose support will contribute to the upcoming PNG Regional Summit.
More than an afternoon gathering, the event represents PAYA’s commitment to building strong partnerships, strengthening its network in Papua New Guinea, and creating meaningful pathways for young people to learn, connect and lead.
Join PAYA as we connect, collaborate and celebrate the growing movement of young Pacific leaders.
