PAYA is proud to support the East New Britain Early Childhood Book Donation Initiative, a collaborative project aimed at promoting early childhood literacy and strengthening access to educational resources for children.
The initiative will bring together Sir Brian Bell Foundation, Buk Bilong Pikinini, Romen Grammar School, SERACS Foundation Inc., and the Pacific-Australia Youth Association (PAYA) to distribute donated books and conduct educational awareness activities with children and Early Childhood educators across East New Britain.
The program will also include engagement with Early Childhood teachers to better understand the challenges they face and identify opportunities to strengthen the sustainability of Early Childhood education.
Through this initiative, PAYA hopes to contribute to creating stronger foundations for learning, encouraging a love of reading, and supporting children and educators in their educational journey.
Location: East New Britain, Papua New Guinea
