H.E. Ambassador Michelle Hau’ofa is the Papua New Guinea Permanent Representative to the United Nations and Other International Organisations in Geneva and Ambassador-Designate to Switzerland.
Prior to her diplomatic posting, Ambassador Hau’ofa held senior roles across finance, banking and public health. She has served as Board Chairman of Comrade Trustee Services Ltd, Independent Director of Westpac PNG Bank, Treasurer of Transparency International PNG, and in leadership and advisory roles supporting public health, disability services and community organisations.
She is currently pursuing an MBA, with certifications from the London School of Economics and Harvard Business School. Beyond her professional and diplomatic career, Ambassador Hau’ofa is a poet, advocate for health and fitness, and supporter of the arts sector in Papua New Guinea.
