As a tutor, she emphasises the importance of addressing global public health issues, particularly cancer, and encourages students to become leaders in healthcare settings to find solutions.
Aileen is thrilled to join the Pacific Australia Youth Association Inc. (PAYA) as a PNG Ambassador. She believes that engaging in such associations is crucial for addressing global issues and those affecting Pacific communities. Leveraging her leadership skills and academic tutoring experience, Aileen aims to positively influence younger generations, her university students, and her community by raising awareness about climate change's impact on the Pacific Islands, public health issues like cancer, and empowering young Pacific youths in leadership roles on a global scale. Aileen sees this opportunity as a way to establish connections and an international network to drive change and find solutions for these pressing challenges. She considers being considered for such a role with PAYA a career highlight.
