SUMMIT ACCOMMODATION
During the Summit, delegates will be accommodated at the Lycée Hôtelier de Tahiti in twin-share rooms with another participant of the same sex.
The Lycée Hôtelier de Tahiti provides accommodation facilities, meeting spaces and a convenient base for Summit activities throughout the week.
Your Summit registration fee includes accommodation from Saturday 21 November to Wednesday 25 November 2026.
Delegates wishing to arrive earlier or remain in Tahiti after the Summit will be responsible for arranging and paying for any additional accommodation required.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
As a condition of participation in the Youth Leadership Summit Tahiti 2026 and a requirement of the Pacific-Australia Youth Association Inc. (PAYA) Terms and Conditions, all international delegates must hold comprehensive travel insurance for the duration of their travel.
Travel insurance should cover:
Medical and hospital expenses
Emergency medical evacuation
Repatriation costs
Personal liability
Trip cancellation or disruption
Lost or delayed luggage
Delegates will be asked to provide evidence of travel insurance prior to the Summit.
VISAS
PAYA is unable to provide individual visa advice.
Delegates are responsible for determining their own visa and entry requirements for French Polynesia and any transit countries they may travel through.
As French Polynesia is an overseas collectivity of France, entry requirements may differ from those for mainland France and other Pacific destinations. Delegates should consult the nearest French embassy, consulate, or official government immigration website well in advance of travel.
If you are travelling from another Pacific Island country, you will be required to transit through New Zealand and/or Australia. You are responsible for arranging any transit visas required.
ADDITIONAL ACCOMMODATION & TRANSIT HOTELS
Delegates wishing to extend their stay in Tahiti before or after the Summit are responsible for arranging their own accommodation.
Delegates travelling from Pacific Island countries may require overnight accommodation in transit locations such as Auckland, Brisbane, Sydney, Nadi, or other international hubs. Any transit accommodation costs are the responsibility of the delegate.
PAYA can provide general recommendations upon request but is unable to make bookings on behalf of delegates.
FLIGHTS
International delegates travelling to the Youth Leadership Summit Tahiti 2026 are encouraged to arrive in Tahiti on Saturday 21 November 2026 and depart on Wednesday 25 November 2026.
