Join us on 27 December 2025 in Ollei, Ngarchelong, Palau, for the BHA Learning Cookout, an initiative led by Amber Holly Osima and supported by the Pacific-Australia Youth Association (PAYA).

The event will bring together more than 45 young people aged 17 and under from three villages for a day of learning, connection and confidence-building. Through six interactive activities, participants will explore emotional intelligence, teamwork, communication and self-confidence in a safe and supportive environment.

The event is open to young people aged 17 and under, and we encourage youth, parents, community leaders, youth organisations and other community members to come along and support this meaningful initiative.

The event will be delivered in partnership with local stakeholders, including the Bureau of Public Safety, Division of Juvenile Justice, Anti-Human Trafficking Unit, Bai Derbei and Ollei Port, with additional support from community organisations and individual donors.

This event will mark PAYA’s first supported activity in Palau and reflects our commitment to supporting locally led initiatives and creating meaningful opportunities for young people across the Pacific.
