Sharon Inone
Sharon Inone is an Environmental Scientist from the Solomon Islands. She graduated with First Class Honours Masters in Science in Climate Change Agriculture and Food Security at the National University of Ireland Galway.
As a Delegate of Solomon Islands for COP24 and COP26, she is passionately firm on her mission and vision to not only represent Solomon Islands internationally but importantly to translate the SDGs and the Paris Agreement into palpable developments in the rural most poor and vulnerable communities in the Solomon Islands and the Pacific Region in terms of climate adaptation and mitigation.
Currently working as World Vision's Sector Portfolio Manager for Climate Change and Disaster Risk Reduction in the Solomon Islands managing 4 Resilience projects funded by USAID BHA, DFAT and DFAT WWF. In August 2022, Sharon was a panellist at the Pacific-Australia Youth Association’s webinar on ‘Australia-Solomon Islands Youth Climate Resilience and Cooperation’.
